Pattison College has a very stable teaching staff and vacancies rarely occur.

Current Vacancies


Pattison College is a small, co-educational, inclusive school in Coventry, educating 120 children from Nursery to Year 11. We pride ourselves on our family atmosphere and individual knowledge of our pupils, which we use to ensure the maximum academic, social, moral, spiritual and physical development for every pupil. We have a strong reputation for confidence-building performing arts, including a post-16 level 4 qualification.

The Proprietor seeks to appoint a new Headteacher from September 2018 (or January 2019) at the latest.

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children;

  • significant whole school leadership experience and

  • a commitment to inclusive education.


Key responsibilities include:

  • upholding the Aims and Ethos of Pattison College;

  • being accountable to the Principal, who is also the Proprietor, for the smooth running of the School;

  • ensuring that the Independent School Standards Regulations (ISSR) along with other statutory and legal requirements, including those pertaining to Health and Safety and Safeguarding, are fully met and that appropriate records are kept and

  • leading and inspiring the pupils and staff.


We recognise that some candidates may not have experience of all our key stages (Nursery to Year 11), but the successful candidate will at minimum have a deep interest in, and understanding of, child development across the age range.
