Pastoral Care & Religion
Pastoral Care
Every pupil has a form teacher who is responsible for the child’s welfare. If there is ever any cause for concern, please speak to the form teacher in the first instance, or to the Deputy Head of the respective school – Mrs Green for the Junior School and Mr Bath for the Senior School – or contact the Head. We like to deal with any issues promptly, so never hesitate to contact the school. Your child’s welfare is of primary importance to us. The school has an anti-bullying policy which is available along with other policies on the school website. Pattison works with the procedures of the Coventry Safeguarding Children Board.
Religion
We are proud of our Christian heritage but we embrace the religious and cultural differences of all pupils and their families, whether through celebrating different religious festivals during the year or by inviting representatives of other religions in to talk to pupils.
Pupils and staff lead assemblies on Friday each week, either to the whole school, or to each section of the school. We have close links with our local church, Stoke St Michael’s Church, where we hold our annual Carol service, and whose vicar comes into school, at least once a term, to hold assemblies on harvest, Remembrance Day, and Easter.
