NSPCC Fundraising
Children from Yr1 to Yr6 took part in an NSPCC morning on Friday, 13th September when two ladies and their friend ‘Buddy’ the puppet, delivered an assembly and a workshop for Yr5 and 6. The content was age appropriate and really focused more on ‘Staying Safe and Speaking Out’. The children were reminded who to turn to if they had any problems either at school or home.
By way of thanking the NSPCC for the workshops, pupils completed a sponsored obstacle course at the Allan Higgs Centre and raised an outstanding £495.43 for the NSPCC. This was an incredible amount from the Prep School. Well done!
Representative, Clelia Lovell was so impressed by our school she emailed to say “the children were wonderfully engaging” and that even though the Prep School had a busy schedule, which included a fire drill, she was “always warmly greeted by staff and children.” She went on to say that “Pattison College has a special, family feel about it” and I am sure we would all agree with that.
