The School Council
The School Council is made up of elected representatives from each class, from Year 2 upwards. It meets on a regular basis with the Head to put forward ideas. Each class can bring ideas to the meeting and all ideas are discussed in a lively and thoughtful manner. This is a very important forum for the pupils to express their thoughts and to be a positive part of the school’s structure and thinking.
Careers
Most pupils leaving Pattison continue on to further education and university. The school works closely with Prospects Careers, formally CSWP, who arrange two weeks’ work experience in January for Year 10 pupils.
Pupils have access to careers advice in the senior years, and as the school is planning to extend the range of education beyond 16 (A Levels, BTechs and Diplomas), this becomes more crucial.
The school already offers Level 3 & 4 Three-Year Musical Theatre Course, Year 1 of which is a foundation course.
