Royal Horticultural School Garden Awards
Pattison has been awarded Level 5, the highest level, in the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) School Garden Awards! The work to achieve this award, which only started 12 months ago, has included planting a mini orchard, securing a donation from the Woodland Trust, growing food that has been enjoyed by the whole school community and creating a pond that is now teaming with life. The initiative has been led by our Gardening Clubs and Eco Team, supported by our Facilities Manager Mr Hanks and our Senior School Science Teacher and Wellbeing lead Mrs Patria.
The Gardening Clubs and Eco Team hope to join in the RHS Big Food Share next year and donate excess fruit and vegetables to the local food hub to help those in need.
