Sports Day
The weather turned out hotter than expected as Pattison enjoyed its first ever sports day. The pupils, including 8 back from Year 11, and students made their way down to the cricket ground, supported by many of their parents along the boundary rope. There were serious (very serious!) races and then some not so serious, as children had to dress up AND run, or see how coordinated they were in a sack or tied to a friend in the three-legged race. The tug-of-war contests were keenly fought, as was the staff vs Year 11/post-16 students rounders game (the staff won – Mrs Baillie being a star with two home runs!).
What a great way to finish the term! Thank you all and see you in September! Warmest regards,
